Classworks has extensive experience of working with and in schools, and is committed to engaging with young people to experience theatre and to see it as an accessible activity.
As part of our forthcoming tour of NO SURRENDER in September 2018, Classworks will be offering schools and colleges the opportunity to see this play for £2 per person, together with post-performance discussions with the creative team, and follow-up workshops in school settings.
If NO SURRENDER is not playing in a venue near you, the performance can be brought to your school.
Please contact Classworks (email@example.com) if you are interested in any aspect of this production.
We also offer IF CLOTHES COULD SPEAK… – an interactive talk about history, politics, cultures and class using items from Classworks’ Heritage Collection of Clothing.
Currently in development is TRY STANDING IN MY SHOES… – an inter-generational film project exploring the connections between teenagers of the 1950s and teenagers today. We are offering an exciting opportunity for students in local schools and colleges (aged 15 to 21) to be part of making this film, exchanging stories with the first teenagers of the 1950s.
