Youth Theatre Workshops
Classworks Theatre runs three youth theatre groups for 11-18 year olds in Cambridge. This album shows a small collection of images from their weekly workshops. All photos in this collection by Roland Eva.

In Limbo
In Limbo by Claire MacDonald was Classworks' professional touring production in 2005. The production was based on David Almond's story The Baby and toured both nationally and to the Fringe.
Dictation
Dictation by Mike Kenny toured nationally in 2003 and offered young people aged 14-17yrs across the country a chance to act in a professional production alongside professional performers.
Paper Tiger
CLASH & CYT2 were brought together with the help of professional writers, beatboxers and dancers to create a story about beginning to enter the world of work and making your "dreams come true". Man On A Wall
Members of CLASH, CYT2 and CYT3 performed at The Moeller Centre, Cambridge on June 11 2009, to celebrate the launch of Cambridgeshire Culture. The work is being funded by the sale of an L S Lowry painting.
My Day
My Day is a series of 8 poems which looks at the eternal struggle of growing from a child into an adult in the 21st Century, using a whirlwind of rap, carnival, music and poetry. All photos in this collection by Roland Eva.
Sleeping Shadows
Members of CLASH, CYT2 and CYT3 were brought together for this play which was devised by the company and written by Emily Taylor. Members took inspiration from the Cambridgeshire Collection, and in particular the journals and novels of Jack Overhill, a local man who lived in the Cambridgeshire slums in the 1920s.
The Insect Play
The Insect Play was a site specific piece, performed outdoors at Fulbourn Nature Reserve, Fulbourn, Cambridge in July 2010. The piece, which had been updated by the cast was also taken to The International Youth Arts Festival in Kingston, London.
